This page deliberately holds no detail. Adoption records are among the most sensitive documents a family keeps, and a dashboard that both of you open on a phone is the wrong place for their contents.

Why this page is nearly empty

The pipeline is configured not to read these documents

Elsewhere in the hub, Claude Code reads documents and extracts facts. For adoption paperwork it does not: the rule in CLAUDE.md permits noting that a document exists and when it expires, and nothing else. No extraction, no summarising, no copying into admin-hub/, and nothing rendered here.

Four years of bank data contains no adoption-related payments — no agency, local authority or court fees — which is consistent with the process being complete.

Keeping this page thin is the correct outcome, not a gap to be filled later.

What the register should hold

Existence, location, dates

Adoption Restricted

For each item: that it exists, where the original is, and any date that matters. No contents, no names beyond what is needed to find it.

  • Adoption order — and where the sealed original is held The document itself should stay in one place with its own access controls.
  • Adoption certificates These replace birth certificates for official purposes, so note how many certified copies you hold and where.
  • Court reference numbers Restricted
  • Placement and agency correspondence — location only
  • Life story materials — location only Belongs to the children. Not admin, and not the hub's business.
  • Later-life letters, if held
  • Any post-adoption support arrangements and review dates The one part with a recurring date worth surfacing.
